The project team behind Media Amateurs in Gay Culture cooperates with colleagues from the research project “AMATEUR FILM ARCHEOLOGY. Excavations in modern visual culture”, which is funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). The project director is Dr. Siegfried Mattl of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institut für Geschichte und Gesellschaft, Cluster Geschichte, at the University of Vienna. The project staff members are Dr. Vrääth Öhner and Mag. Karin Fest.
